What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale Station will continue the use of a mobile crane to assist with deliveries, lifting, and hoisting activities. Every Tuesday for approximately one month, crews will be placing a mobile crane in front of the Main Entrance workzone. Work will continue within regular working hours at Keelesdale, from as early as 6:00am until 11:00pm.

 

What to Expect

Crews will be placing a mobile crane in front of the Main Entrance on Tuesday's for approximately one month. Pedestrians will be rerouted around the crane, and traffic will be shifted slightly south. Crews will maintain access to businesses and residences through the duration of this activity. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am - 11:00pm
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected

 

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

  • Eastbound and Westbound traffic lanes will be shifted slightly south, east of Keele St/Trethewey Dr
  •  All current traffic restrictions at the intersection will remain in place
  •   No impacts to TTC bus service

 

PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • Pedestrians will be temporarily rerouted around the mobile crane
  • Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
