Overnight Concrete Pour at Mount Pleasant Station Wednesday April 24, 2019

On Wednesday April 24, 2019, at 11:00 p.m., crews will perform a large concrete pour in the southwest work zone at Mt Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.  The concrete will form part of the roof of Mount Pleasant Station. Continuity is critical to the integrity of the pour, therefore the pour will be conducted overnight when traffic is lighter, making it easier for trucks to access the site.

Update: Cross Passage Dewatering System between Lillian Street and Redpath Avenue

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE

The dewatering system at Cross Passage 10 site between Lillian Street and Redpath Avenue is now recommissioned and will operate on a 24 hour basis. Periodic maintenance will be required.

Construction Notice: Concrete Pour at Fairbank Station - April 18, 2019

What Work is Taking Place?

On Thursday April 18, crews will perform a concrete pour at the Main Entrance area of Fairbank Station. The concrete will form part of the Main Entrance walls.  A concrete pump will be placed on Vaughan Road behind the Main Entrance site, and concrete trucks will deliver concrete to the site.  Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while work takes place. What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be continuing guideway work in the center of Eglinton Avenue East between Victoria Park Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue. Starting as early as May 1, 2019 for approximately six (6) weeks.

The work includes cutting and removal of existing asphalt, excavation, installation of subgrade materials, duct banks installation and track drainage, track slab and stops.  Read more »

On Wednesday April 17, 2019, at 2:00 a.m., crews will perform a large concrete pour.  The concrete will form part of the roof of Chaplin Station.  To ensure the continuity and integrity of the activity, and to minimize the impact to TTC operations, the pour will be conducted overnight when traffic is lighter.  Some traffic restrictions will be in effect to accommodate equipment and truck access requirements.  Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

To accommodate line painting and the repair of a geotechnical monitor located 6 meters underground in the TTC bus loop at Eglinton West Station, crews will be working during early morning hours (2:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.) for 1 or 2 days starting April 16th, 2019 to minimize impacts to TTC bus operations and reduce the risk of incident to crew members.
