Overnight Traffic Set Up at Leaside Station

What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday, June 18 starting at approximately 9:00 p.m., crews will make changes to the existing traffic staging at Bayview Ave and Eglinton Ave E to accommodate the next stage of shoring in the roadway. Set up work will last approximately 14 hours. Shoring at Leaside Station is being completed in several stages. Read more »

UPDATE: Resumption of Overnight Utility Relocation on Transway Crescent and Kennedy Road In Support of Construction of the Future Kennedy Station

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews will resume relocating watermain and sanitary utilities on Transway Crescent, starting as soon as June 12, 2018. To reduce impacts to the community and commuters this work will be performed overnight and will take approximately three (3) weeks to complete.  The work is part of the larger upgrade and relocation of utilities for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

Update: TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN CHANGES LEASIDE STATION

On Monday, June 18th, the construction zone will be shifting from the south side of Eglinton Avenue East to the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, both east and west of Bayview Avenue.

The new set up will support the continuation of the support of excavation work including pile installation, shallow excavation and wet utilities relocations in the roadway on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East.
