Decommissioning Monitoring Wells at Oakwood Station - May 27, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

On Friday, May 27, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will decommission monitoring wells on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West, east of the Secondary Entrance site. To facilitate this work, a drill rig will be set up within the work zone outside 1603 Eglinton Avenue West. Decommissioning of the well will take approximately two (2) hours.

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment including a drill rig and hand tools can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• Friday, May 27, 2022, for one (1) day
• This work will take place between 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., for approximately two (2) hours
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• All TTC stops are expected to remain in their current locations.
