What Work is Taking Place?
Crews at Keelesdale Station have reopened the road and completed the implementation of the final traffic configuration! Over the next few months, crews will continue with finishing activities, including final sidewalk restoration, tree planting, and street cleaning.
Sidewalk restoration activities continue at the southwest corner of the intersection and will be ongoing until as early as Friday November 20. Pedestrians are temporarily rerouted through the GreenP parking lot on the southwest corner. Traffic travelling eastbound will be reduced to one lane, west of Keele St. Traffic travelling south on Trethewey Dr will be reduced to one lane, south of Eglinton Ave W. All turns at the intersection remain open.
What to Expect
Crews will be grinding and paving the sidewalks in the southwest corner of the intersection. Crews will maintain access to businesses and residences through the duration of this activity. Noise from construction equipment such as trucks or excavators can be expected however, noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity
HOURS OF WORK
- Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am - 11:00pm
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
- The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
- This work may take longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- One lane in each direction will be maintained around the temporary work zone
- Yarrow Road remains closed
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
- Pedestrians will be rerouted through the GreenP parking lot
- Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
- No impacts to TTC bus service
