What Work is Taking Place?
Crews at the Rail Corridor continue west Rail Corridor development, including utility installations. On Tuesday, October 27 & Wednesday, October 28, crews will continue to do test pits on Weston Road and Hollis Street. All current traffic restrictions will remain in place.
What to Expect
Crews will be using a vac truck for the test pits and noise can be expected. The working hours remain from 7:00am until 7:00pm, however the actual working duration is only four hours. On site, crews will be using a roller to perform backfilling and compaction works and vibrations can be expected. On site, noise and vibration can be expected from the continued installation of the new storm pipe.
HOURS OF WORK
- Crews will be working from as early as 7:00am until 7:00pm
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
- The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
- This work may take longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- All current traffic restrictions will remain in place
- Access to Weston Rd and Eglinton Ave W will be maintained
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
- All current pedestrian restrictions will remain in place
- Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
