What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday, February 14, 2022, crews at Caledonia Station will be preforming street and traffic light installations on Eglinton Avenue West by the Primary Entrance. To facilitate this work safely, eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction by the Primary Entrance. This work will take approximately one (1) week to complete and will be carried out in two phases (refer to maps).
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- Starting as early as Monday, February 14, 2022
- Construction activities are expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- The entire duration of the works will be approximately one (1) week; the duration of each phase is listed below:
- Phase One: Two (2) days
- Phase Two: Two (2) days
- This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances
- Work may be longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction by the Primary Entrance
- Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
TTC INFORMATION
- All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
